Accounts Receivable Manager
An established food & beverage manufacturer & distributor is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their organization. The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager oversees the company’s invoicing, payment collection, and credit extension processes to optimize cash flow. They lead the AR team, manage client disputes, analyze aging reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Key goals include reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities: Monitoring the invoicing process, ensuring accurate payment posting, and managing customer payment applications. Developing and implementing procedures for collecting overdue accounts, including negotiating with customers.Reviewing and analyzing accounts receivable aging reports to identify trends, high-risk accounts, and forecast revenue.Oversee daily accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash transactions, and bank reconciliations.Assist in the accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Maintain strong internal controls over financial transactions and reporting.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.Demonstrated experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with Sage 100 strongly preferred.
