Director, Strategic Finance

***Location: Scottsdale, AZThe Director, Strategic Finance will lead high-impact financial analysis and strategic decision support while serving as the on-site finance leader in Scottsdale and a trusted partner to functional and executive leadership across the Company. Sitting at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, this role will work closely with the SVP, Finance & Strategy and other senior leaders to support the Company’s most important financial and strategic decisions. This role is well suited for candidates with top-tier experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or FP&A, particularly in healthcare, diagnostics, medtech, life sciences, or other high-growth environments.What you’ll be doing…Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Finance LeadershipPartner with the SVP, Finance & Strategy and executive leadership team on the Company’s most important financial and strategic decisions.Translate complex business issues into clear financial frameworks, recommendations, and executive-ready materials.FP&A / Financial ModelingOwn FP&A including annual budgeting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and enterprise-level financial modeling.Evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, resource allocation decisions, and key growth priorities.Develop decision-support analyses related to:o Pricing and reimbursement dynamicso Market expansiono Product and business unit economicso Capital deploymento Margin improvemento Operating leverage Management / Board ReportingSupport board, investor, and executive leadership materials, including narrative development and financial analysis.Identify opportunities to improve financial visibility, business performance measurement, and strategic planning rigor. Cross-Functional CollaborationServe as the senior finance leader based in the Company’s Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters, providing on-site financial leadership and day-to-day partnership to key business functions and leadership.Partner with Revenue Cycle Management, Commercial, Operations, Market Access, and executive leadership to support decision-making, resource allocation, financial planning, and performance management across the business.High-Performing CultureMentor and help develop junior finance talent over time.What you’ll be doing…Knowledge, Skills & Experience5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, strategic finance, corporate development, private equity portfolio operations, or senior finance leadership roles.Significant experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medtech, biotech, life sciences, or other high-growth environments strongly preferred.Exceptional financial modeling and analytical capabilities.Strong business judgement and demonstrated ability to connect financial analysis to strategic decisions.Experience supporting executive teams and preparing materials for senior leadership, boards, and investorsStrong understand of growth strategy, profitability drivers, and resource allocation frameworks.Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially geared toward executive leadership, Board, and investor stakeholders.Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and operate effectively in a high-growth, dynamic environment.High attention to detail, strong ownership mentality, and willingness to roll up sleeves.Education, Certifications, and LicensuresMBA in finance, accounting, or business required.Location: Ability to use standard office equipment, including copiers, scanners and PDF tools.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Ability to perform repetitive motions.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.This position is based at CND’s headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ.Grow Your Career With UsCND Life Sciences is a patient and employee-centric, future-focused organization.
