Office Associate
Office Associate Support the work of the Buros Center for Testing, an internationally recognized leader in advancing the quality of testing and assessment. This role provides administrative and operational support for test review activities, information services, and daily center operations. The position also serves as a key point of contact for visitors, researchers, and professionals seeking information about tests and measurement. Key responsibilities include: Serving as a welcoming first point of contact by answering phones, responding to inquiries, and assisting visitors Supporting test review and information services by preparing and organizing materials and responding to requests Coordinating daily office operations including mail and shipping, supplies, equipment, and conference room and library scheduling Processing and tracking financial and purchasing activities including deposits, royalty payments, e-commerce sales, and purchasing transactions Preparing correspondence and compiling reports to support center operations Assisting with onboarding graduate assistants and new staff members Coordinating logistics for meetings, travel, and special events, including the National Advisory Council annual meeting Working with campus partners to support the center's programs and resolve operational needs The College of Education and Human Sciences strives to be a vibrant, welcoming, and caring community driven by our mission to enhance the lives of individuals, families, schools, and communities, and strengthening the relationships among them. Minimum required qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent experience plus four (4) years of experience providing administrative or office support or other related experience; OR Associate degree in business or related field plus two (2) years of related experience; OR Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, or similar software to organize and manage information. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting. Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in an academic or corporate office setting.
