Embedded Software Engineer – C++(FMS)
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer – C++ with strong expertise in the Flight Management System (FMS) domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and modifying embedded C++ software, particularly software related to HMI / Multifunction Control and Display Unit (MCDU) applications.FMS domain experience is mandatory.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, debug, and modify embedded C++ software for flight-related systems.Understand existing software code and implement changes based on Change Requests (CRs).Work on software associated with HMI / Multifunction Control and Display Unit (MCDU).Participate in the Change Request process, including analysis, implementation, debugging, and verification.Support flight software development and debugging activities.Analyze software issues and troubleshoot/debug embedded applications.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to understand system requirements and implement software updates.Follow aerospace software development processes and applicable safety/quality standards.Contribute to software development activities in compliance with DO-178C guidelines.🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications3–8 years of professional software development experience.Strong programming skills in Embedded C++.Ability to understand existing code constructs and make modifications based on Change Requests.Mandatory: Hands-on experience in the FMS (Flight Management System) domain.Experience developing software for HMI / MCDU / Multifunction Control and Display Unit systems.Experience with flight software development.Experience working in a software debugging environment.Understanding of aerospace/avionics software development processes.Experience with DO-178C is highly preferred/required.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork skills.🔹 Top SkillsEmbedded C++ Software DevelopmentFMS (Flight Management System) – MandatoryChange Request (CR) ProcessHMI / MCDU DevelopmentFlight Software Development & DebuggingDO-178C
