By partnering with the Hearing Care Professionals onsite, the HCC provides support to referring physicians and patients. Congratulations on taking the first step toward joining the AudioNova team!As a Hearing Care Coordinator, you will:Greet patients with a positive and professional attitudePlace outbound calls to current and former patients for the purpose of scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations and weekly evaluations for the clinicCollect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notesSchedule/Confirm patient appointmentsComplete benefit checks and authorization for each patients' insuranceProvide first level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in/out, and collect and process paymentsProcess repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care ProfessionalPrepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to financeGeneral sales knowledge for accessories and any patient supportProcess patient orders, receive all orders and verify pick up, input information into systemClean and maintain equipment and instrumentsSubmit equipment and facility requestsGeneral office duties, including cleaningManage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as neededAssist with event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach event per monthEducation:High School Diploma or equivalentAssociates degree, preferredIndustry/Product Knowledge Required:Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plusSkills/Abilities:Professional verbal and written communicationStrong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, clinical staffExperience with Microsoft Office and OutlookKnowledge of HIPAA regulationsEMR/EHR experience a plusWork Experience:2+ years in a health care environment is preferredPrevious customer service experience is requiredWe love to work with great people and strongly believe that a diverse team makes us better.
