Supply Chain Clerk - Regional Concrete Production

Current Position(s)Supply Chain Clerk - Regional Concrete ProductionInventory & ForecastingTrack daily inventory levels of aggregates (sand, rock, fly ash, cement) across assigned plantsMaintain minimum and maximum inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstockingIdentify and communicate inventory risks and discrepanciesReconcile physical counts with daily reports and support production-based forecastingProduction ReportingTrack and report daily production volumes and material usage by plantMaintain accurate records of aggregate consumption tied to mix designsPrepare regular reports on production, inventory, and material efficiencyAssist in analyzing variances and material lossProcurement & Vendor CoordinationSolicit quotes and negotiate pricing to maintain competitive material costsIdentify and evaluate new vendors to improve supply reliability and pricingCoordinate purchase orders and delivery schedulesLogistics & CoordinationAlign material deliveries with plant production schedulesCoordinate inbound aggregate shipments for timeliness and cost efficiencyAssist in monitoring and optimizing haul and freight costsData & Administrative SupportMaintain accurate records in inventoryEnsure delivery tickets, invoices, and documentation are complete and accurateSupport audits, inventory counts, and compliance reportingCollaborate with operations, quality control, and accounting teamsAssist with budgeting, cost tracking, and continuous improvement effortsQualificationsHigh school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred2+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory, or construction materials preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and data tracking systemsEffective communication and negotiation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKey CompetenciesInventory control and forecastingCost awareness and vendor negotiationData accuracy and reporting disciplineProactive communication and networkPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days of work are normally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, schedule is subject to change due to company demands.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
