Overview The Material Handler II is a full time, overtime eligibleposition that reports to the Materials Management Team. The MaterialsHandler I is responsible for performing manual and clerical dutiesrelated to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, anddelivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. The pay rangefor this position is \$22.00 to \$31.00 per hour. Compensation will beDetermined Based On Education, Experience, And Other Factors Inaccordance with applicable laws. Essential Functions Counts, weighs ormeasures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying informationand variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds withpurchasing to rectify. Perform cycle counts on inventory items. Preparesmaterials for shipment by picking, packaging, and shipping. Prepareorders for shipments in accordance with pick tickets, customerrequirements, and packaging guidelines (IATA and DOT) through acceptedmethods/practices. Operates material handling equipment such asforklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock orreorganize storage. Processes RMAs. Return Material Authorization.Receives incoming product in the system. Maintain finished goods in thecold room & warehouse (this includes first in first out, monitoringexpiration dates, lots, serial numbers, locations, and kit creation).Prepares and ships international shipments. Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesRequired: General shipping or Warehouse experience (2 plus years). Basicmath skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and dividein multiple units of measure. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Officeproducts, as well as PC based equipment, printers, and otherperipherals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Abilityto work independently, to prioritize responsibilities. Valid driverslicense. Be able to work the departments schedule of M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pmwith the ability to work OT as business needs require. Preferred: HighSchool Diploma or equivalent. Ability to obtain a forklift license.Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Able tooccasionally move about inside the warehouse as well as the facility.Able to remain stationary for an extended length of time. Operatecomputers and other office equipment. Push, pull, carry, or maneuverheavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices. Traverseabout the facility, carry and climb ladders, work from heights, crawlunder equipment and have the dexterity to work with trade tools.
