Position SummaryThe Bakery Manager is responsible for leading all bakery department operations to achieve sales, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction goals. This role oversees production planning, merchandising, food safety, team development, and operational standards while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop bakery associates to deliver high‑quality products and exceptional customer serviceCreate schedules to meet business needs while maintaining labor standardsTrain team members on production standards, food safety, and customer engagementPerform performance management activities, including coaching, feedback, and corrective actionBakery OperationsOversee daily production, decorating, baking, and packaging to ensure freshness and quality standardsEnsure accurate forecasting, ordering, and inventory managementMaintain department cleanliness, organization, and equipment standardsExecute company programs, promotions, and merchandising standardsFood Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsMaintain proper labeling, rotation, temperature logs, and documentationConduct department audits and address deficiencies promptlyEnsure all associates are trained on food handling and safety proceduresSales, Margin & Shrink ControlDrive sales through product assortment, presentation, and seasonal executionManage shrink, waste, and markdowns in alignment with company expectationsAnalyze sales and production data to adjust labor and product mix accordinglyControl department expenses and contribute to overall store financial performanceCustomer ExperienceDeliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer concernsEnsure product availability, quality, and visual appeal meet customer expectationsBuild customer loyalty through engagement and consistent execution
