You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data-driven solutions using tools like Pig and PySpark. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced Agile environments and play a key role in modernizing software components within a secure and evolving ecosystem.You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:A problem-solver with strong technical instinctsExperienced with large-scale data analytics pipelinesComfortable developing in both scripting and compiled languagesFamiliar with secure system practices like patch managementSomeone who thrives in Agile, collaborative environmentsCapable of balancing rapid development with long-term maintainabilityA Day in the Life Of:Developing and optimizing analytics pipelines using Pig and PySparkCollaborating with stakeholders to define and implement software solutionsWriting, testing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable codeWorking with Python, Java, or Scala to support analytic capabilitiesSupporting patch management, system updates, and IAVA trackingParticipating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremoniesContributing to automation and integration using tools like NiFi and AnsibleMust Haves:TS/SCI with Polygraph7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldOR an additional 4 years of relevant SWE experience will substitute for the Bachelors DegreeStrong experience in analytics developmentProficiency with Pig and PySparkNice to Have:Experience with patch management and IAVA trackingProgramming skills in Python, Java, or ScalaFamiliarity with Apache NiFi and AnsibleExperience working in Agile or Scrum-based teamsClearEdge is an established small business that values its employees and is committed to providing an environment where individuals can succeed and grow.
