Physical Therapist (4-day work week)

Physical TherapistAlliance Orthopedics, the region's most dynamic multidisciplinary practice, is seeking an energetic, motivated, and articulate team player to join our team! Our Physical Therapists provide direct patient care working side-by-side with our conservative care team of chiropractors, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, exercise physiologists, and more! PTs are an integral part of our sports medicine team, and function additionally as liaisons to our medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, functional medicine practitioners, and pain management physicians. A licensed physical therapist brings a unique role and perspective to the rehab floor of our practice. Understand THEIR GOALS!Provide engaging one-on-one care with patients, allowing them to feel heard during evaluationsDevelop physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skillsCreate personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patientsConsult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for advanced careDocument accurate patient care history in a timely mannerPrepare patients for return for work, school, home, etc.Educate caregivers and/or family members of patients on patient needsMaintain professional knowledge and technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program availableEvaluate patient condition regarding physical and basic mental healthComply with company rules, regulations, and proceduresSupport marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requestedEnsure an outstanding patient experience by becoming part of our fun, energetic, high octane, and motivating clinic atmosphere!Stand out as a valuable team member, bringing energy in collaboration with all other healthcare disciplines in a team setting to help our patients get BETTER EVERYDAY!Requirements:Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited education programPassed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)Completion of the American Physical Therapy Association residency programValid New Jersey LicensePossess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programsExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, especially the ability to show compassion for patients coming from all walks of lifeFamiliarity with electronic medical record systemsWillingness to challenge patients, other team members, and yourself!Background Check Requirement: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant information as permitted by law
