Manufacturing Site Quality Assurance Leader

MonoSol is looking for a Manufacturing Site Quality Assurance Leader to lead the site to deliver continuous improvement in the quality of the products delivered to our customers and reduce quality losses at the site. This position is based at our Lebanon manufacturing facility and reports to the senior leadership in the quality organization. Primary Responsibilities: Ensure that Quality Assurance (QA) is properly represented in the Sites Lead Team and included in the direction set for the site. Contribute to the development of the MonoSol QA systems and processes via active participation in the MonoSol QA Lead Team. Build QA capability at the Site and hold the Site to account for the implementation and ongoing execution of the MonoSol QA systems and processes. Provide Leadership to the team of Quality Lab Technicians at the Site. Duties: Be an active member of the Site Lead Team Be an active member of the MonoSol QA Lead Team Be an active member/lead of the Site Fast Response Team. Support investigations into the Root Cause of Quality Issues and Customer Complaints. Support/drive investigations of the Root Cause of internal process /product failures. Actively Support 5S initiative of the Site. Carry out regular assessments of the product quality being produced and develop action plans to close gaps. Assess the strength of the MonoSol QA systems and processes at the site and develop action plans to close gaps. Provide timely input on the Quality Assurance requirements for new products, equipment and process changes planned for the Site. Benchmark and share best QA practices across the MonoSol Sites. Ensure individuals or teams are recognized for their contributions toward Quality. Personally own/lead some enterprise-wide QA processes and/or systems. Maintain the ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System. Ensure that Halal and Kosher product certification requirements within the facility are met and maintained. Maintain Site QA budget each year, and ensure spending is within agreed budget. Maintain the site QA Scorecard. Ensure Quality Labs and QA equipment maintained according to the standards. Provide Quality Training for new Team members. 3-5 Years experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment preferred Bachelors Degree in engineering, a science or technology Six Sigma Black or Green Belt preferred Experience working in and implementing ISO 9001: 2015 Quality systems Has developed quality control and quality improvement strategies and methods Previous experience writing quality system documents and training operators and supervisors Excellent verbal and written communication skills Has used statistical software Has completed Gauge R&R studies and conducted process capability studies CQE certificate (Certified Quality Engineer)- ASQ Certified Auditor (internal or external) Closing The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by employees assigned to this position.
