The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service.Job DescriptionAbility to multi-task in a fast placed, patient- care driven clinical environmentDemonstrates high reliability through consistent punctuality and attendanceEscorts patients to exam roomsAssist Physicians with exams, procedures and administering medicationsAssist patients with questions abut medications and wound carePrepare necessary surgical dressing and instruct patient in post-operative wound care, such as dressing changes and use of medicationsTake telephone message; provide feedback and answers to patient/ physicians/ pharmacy callsSchedule laser/ cosmetic procedures for patients as neededAdminister local anesthetic, remove sutures, and assist with various surgical or cosmetic procedures as directed by providerClean and restock examination roomQualificationsRequirements:1-year Medical Assistant experience required; dermatology preferredKnowledge of medical terminologyHIPPA and OSHA regulationsJob Type:Full-time: Monday-FridayOne Saturday a monthSalary:Pay rate starting at $18/hrAdditional Information
