Locum Physician - Gastroenterology Join a thriving healthcare facility located in the heart of Petoskey, Michigan. We are actively seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive environment. The facility operates Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with 24-hour weekend call duties. With a robust practice that includes a team of physicians, APPs, and comprehensive onsite services, you will be well-equipped to deliver high-quality care. Job Responsibilities: Provide care in a clinic setting within a hospital environment.Perform 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes per day.Cover endoscopy procedures and handle consults during operational hours.Collaborate with two physicians and two APPs for comprehensive patient care.Utilize onsite lab and X-Ray facilities for efficient diagnostics and treatment.Maintain electronic medical records using Cerner. Qualifications: Board Certified in Gastroenterology.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience post fellowship.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to high-quality patient care. License and Certification Requirements: Active Michigan medical license and CSR.ACLS certification.Documentation of required vaccinations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID, TB, TDAP).DEA verbal confirmation and NPDB self-query required.Experience the charming town of Petoskey, known for its stunning lake views and vibrant community.
