AWS Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer with extensive experience in cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms on AWS. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to drive enterprise data initiatives and support analytics solutions.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services.Build and manage data lakes and cloud-based data warehouses for large-scale data storage and analytics.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Optimize data processing performance, reliability, and security.Implement data integration solutions for both structured and unstructured data sources.Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing data workflows and platforms.Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.Support real-time and batch processing data pipelines to meet business requirements.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications7+ years in Data Engineering or related roles.Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena, and EC2.Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL pipeline development.Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or similar big data frameworks.Solid understanding of data warehousing, cloud architecture, and data modeling.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices for automated deployments.Expertise in performance tuning, data security, and data governance best practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
