Apply today!Nature of WorkResponsible for functioning independently in troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC mechanisms all while providing top-notch customer service.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan and complete all necessary steps in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systemsTroubleshoot malfunctions, interruptions, and failures of HVAC EquipmentAdhere to the highest standards of quality and safetyEnsure complete customer satisfaction from start to finished productComprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefingsRespond to emergency service requestsCommunicate in a professional manner with employees and customersProduce detailed service reports and time entry dailyOperate and maintain an organized and well-inventoried vehicleAdhere to current HVAC rules, regulations, and codesProper use of tools and equipmentProvide documentation including processes, daily logs, etc. as required for assigned projectsTravel to jobs within service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are promptly communicatedBuild positive relationships with customersPromote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or officeMaintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Company's vehicle policy, allows operation of a vehicle for business purposesExercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organizationQualificationsAbility to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely mannerExcellent customer service skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical levelAbility to understand and implement best practice standardsAbility to quickly and effectively solve complex problemsAbility to deliver quality through attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to be proactive and resourcefulAbility to build relationships with team members that transcend a projectAbility to maintain current Class E driver's license and good driving recordEducationMinimum of high school diploma or GEDExperience3+ years of HVAC technical and trade experiencePhysical Demands and Working EnvironmentMust be able to lift 100+ poundsAble to tolerate extreme temperatures for extended periods of timeAble to work overtime and weekend hours in an On-Call RotationAble to continually push, pull, lift, grasp, hold, carry, reach, reach above the shoulders, stoop, bend at the waist, bend at the knee, kneel, bend side to side, crouch, stand on step stools or small ladders and balanceThis position will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding)Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, and background checkMust have reliable transportationSafety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safetyprotocols.Cerris and its subsidiary companies are an Equal Opportunity Employer-EEO/AA/M/F/D/V/VEVRAAEqual Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
