Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex projects, ensure timely delivery, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and technical software tools to drive project success while fostering strong collaboration among teams, clients, and stakeholders. The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan projects, working closely with the construction team and superintendents to ensure all projects are completed on time, to specifications, and profitably. This role is the owner of their projects — responsible from kickoff to closeout, serving as the primary point of contact between HFI, clients, vendors, and the general contractor.
Key Accountabilities
Complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, with accuracy, efficiency, and profitability as primary outcomes
Outline project tasks and delegate appropriately to the Admin Construction Team
Prepare estimates and manage all project costs, including subcontractor scopes; conduct cost analysis and forecast expected costs for the project and all change orders outside the original scope of work
Conduct risk and safety assessments; report identified risks to management and/or the Safety Director and provide recommendations for mitigation — up to and including project termination when appropriate
Address questions, concerns, and complaints from office, field, GC, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
Act as the primary liaison between HFI, clients, and vendors — own your project from start to finish
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
Perform other related duties as assigned

Thorough understanding of mechanical construction operations, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of assigned projects
Excellent computer skills including project management and estimating software
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field — Construction Management, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering preferred
Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
