Job DescriptionCTR Group is seeking an Engineering Section Manager for the Research & Development Division of an Automotive Company in the Atlanta, GA area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring!Salary Range: $110K - $125 plus Excellent Benefits.A Hybrid position with 3 days per week at the office and 2 days at home.SUMMARY:The Engineering Section Manager will be working in Tire Design & Development at the R&D Division of an Automotive Company in the Atlanta, GA area. This exciting opportunity is for an individual who has the knowledge and experience to lead tire design and development projects and fellow engineers. Strong analysis and judgment skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.Responsibilities:Participate in and support tire development projectsMentor the efforts of engineers by providing advice, direction and trainingConduct technical design reviews that are data driven and use analytical tools and problem solving techniquesProvide leadership for the establishment of tire performance standards and tire development process standardsResearch respective market and help determine strategy for the business planEnsure project milestones are achievedREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, material engineering or a directly related engineering field required7 years of tire industry engineering experience requiredExperience managing the work of others requiredCTR Group has been a leader in its industry for over 30 years and is rated highly on Google, Indeed and Facebook for being a great company to work for.
