This role will focus on advancing finance-related initiatives, partnering closely with Finance stakeholders to modernize and automate high-impact processes.We operate at the intersection of full-stack application development, cloud-native automation, and applied AI. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals combined with the ability to design scalable systems, integrate AI responsibly, and deliver measurable business impact. You will work across modern web development (TypeScript, NestJS, React), cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform, and AI-driven architectures (Vertex AI, RAG pipelines, agent orchestration).At the Staff level, you will shape technical direction, define architectural standards, and drive AI-first engineering practices while contributing reusable patterns across the broader team.Your ImpactArchitect and lead the design of scalable full-stack enterprise applications supporting finance initiatives using TypeScript, NestJS, React, and SQLDefine system architecture, data models, service boundaries, and integration patterns for finance-critical platformsEstablish and standardize AI patterns including RAG pipelines, structured LLM workflows, evaluation frameworks, and guardrailsDrive end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from architecture through production rolloutEnsure strong reliability, security, observability, and performance across systemsInfluence cross-functional technical decisions with Finance stakeholders and engineering partnersIdentify opportunities to modernize finance workflows through automation and applied AIServe as a technical escalation point for complex production or architectural challengesMentor senior engineers and elevate engineering standards across the teamQualifications Required ExperienceBachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Dual major in Finance or demonstrated domain exposure in Finance is a plus7+ years of software engineering experienceStrong full-stack development experienceDemonstrated experience leading architectural design for complex systemsExperience deploying and scaling cloud-native applications (Google Cloud Platform preferred)Practical experience designing and implementing AI-integrated systems (RAG, embeddings, tool/function calling, evaluation patterns)Strong understanding of system reliability, observability, and production operationsProven ability to influence technical direction and multiply team impactPreferred ExperienceExperience deploying cloud-native applications (Google Cloud Platform preferred)React, Node.js/NestJS, TypeScriptCompensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
