Mechanical Assembler (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Wadsworth, OH Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Pay: (based on experience) $20.00-$21.00 per hour Join a growing manufacturing team! We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Assembler to join a leading manufacturing facility in Wadsworth, OH. What You'll Do Assemble large off-road brakes, clutches, gearboxes, and torsional couplings Use hand and power tools to complete assemblies Perform basic product testing under supervision Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and follow established procedures Maintain quality standards while working in a team-oriented environment Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous assembly or mechanical manufacturing experience Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. Basic knowledge of shop tools and measuring equipment Ability to read work instructions and follow directions Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen Preferred Qualifications Diesel technician, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or large engine experience 3+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus Why Apply?
