Reach Truck Operator

Job Description Job OverviewWe are actively seeking skilled and safety-minded CrownReach Truck Operators to join our technology warehouse team on day and afternoon shift. This vital role involves the efficient and safe operation of Crown reach trucks and other material handling equipment to ensure smooth warehouse operations. We are looking for individuals with a strong commitment to safety, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently operate Crown Reach Trucks and other heavy equipment.Perform materials handling tasks using RF scanners for accurate inventory management.Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.Assist with the loading and unloading of materials from trucks and various storage locations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to OSHA standards.Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production and operational goals.Execute heavy lifting tasks when required, always utilizing proper and safe lifting techniques.Skills and QualificationsProven proficiency in heavy equipment operation, specifically Crown Reach Trucks.Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or distribution setting.Familiarity with RF scanner usage for inventory tracking and management.Utilize Computer Systems and/or WMS (Warehouse Management System) to navigate tasks, manage workflows, and receive/process pick waves.Ability to operate other equipment such as EPJ and Sit-Down Forklift is a plus.Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment are beneficial.Solid understanding of OSHA regulations relevant to warehouse operations.Capability to safely perform heavy lifting tasks.Excellent attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to safety protocols.Ability to work effectively on 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM).Join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and safe warehouse environment while earning a competitive starting wage!Job Type: Full-timeCompany DescriptionSnider-Blake has been working for YOU since 1952!
