SoCal JCB - Territory Sales Representative

SoCal JCB is an authorized dealer for JCB construction equipment including skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, excavators and telehandlers.Position SummarySoCal JCB currently has an opening for a Territory Sales Representative to support our machine sales coverage. This position is responsible for providing exemplary customer satisfaction to assigned accounts through the sale of products and services offered by SoCal JCB. The Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between SoCal JCB and the customer.Position Type: ExemptMajor Tasks, Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesDevelop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations and preparing quotes.Build relationships with customers quickly and in a mutually beneficial manner.Listen to and engage every customer to obtain sufficient information to correctly determine or confirm his/her requests.Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, product uses and rental policies.Fulfill requests promptly and accurately, in line with company procedures.Obtain customer information such as name, address and payment method. Enter orders into database.Create quotations and maintain records of contacts, accounts and orders.Consult with clients after contract signings to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.Knowledge of products to troubleshoot machine issues over the phone.Ensure showroom, equipment, displays, counters, and signs are clean, well-stocked, orderly and attractive.Aid in the schedule and dispatch of deliveries.Work with team members to ensure high quality work and the best possible customer experienceMaintain CRM database, knowledge of Sales Force a plusMinimum RequirementsHigh-dollar, high-volume sales experienceExperience with customer negotiationsPrior territory management experience preferredHigh energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic requiredLeadership Skills a strong plus for future growth opportunitiesSelf-Improvement skills and set high standards for personal performanceExcellent customer service skillsAbility to perform at a high capacity in fast paced environmentMust pass any drug screens and background checksPreferred Qualification Bilingual (English and Spanish)SoCal JCB is an equal employment opportunities (EEO) employer in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
