The Reidy.AI Suite is currently in active development toward a 2026 launch, spanning mobile, web, backend, and AI services. We operate at the intersection of real estate, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure, and we are looking for sharp, motivated students who want hands-on experience with a production-grade tech stack before they enter the workforce.The OpportunityThis internship is built for computer science or software engineering students who want real-world experience beyond what coursework provides. You will work alongside our engineering team of 11+ developers, actively contributing to quality assurance across all layers of the Reidy.AI Suite. This is not a shadow role. You will have ownership of test plans, bug reports, and minor bug fixes in a live development environment with a real beta deadline on the horizon.High performers will be considered for full-time positions as Reidy.AI scales toward and beyond the beta launch.What You'll DoQuality AssuranceDesign and execute manual and automated test cases across mobile (iOS/SwiftUI), web (React), and backend (.NET/C# API) surfacesPerform regression testing on new features and bug fixes across sprint cyclesTest authentication flows, user role enforcement, and feature flag behavior across all platform user typesValidate API endpoints using tools such as Postman or Swagger for correctness, edge cases, and error handlingConduct data integrity checks on SQL Server schemas, EF Core migrations, and integration points with third-party data providersTest real-time features including SignalR-based messaging and notification flowsDocument and track defects in GitHub Issues with clear reproduction steps, severity classification, and supporting evidenceBug FixingTriage and resolve small, well-defined bugs across the codebase under the guidance of senior engineersSubmit clean pull requests with descriptive commit messages and supporting contextParticipate in code review for your own submissions and provide feedback on peers' workAssist in verifying fixes deployed to the Azure staging environment before merge to mainCollaborationParticipate in weekly engineering sync meetings and async standupsWork within GitHub Projects to manage tasks, track sprint progress, and update statusesCommunicate blockers and findings proactively to the Technical Program ManagerWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldSolid understanding of software testing principles: unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testingFamiliarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman for manual API testingComfort working with Git and GitHub (branches, pull requests, issues)Strong written communication skills for clear, actionable bug reportsSelf-directed with the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote-first environmentPreferred:Hands-on experience with .NET/C#, Swift/SwiftUI, React, or Python in an academic or professional settingExposure to automated testing frameworks (xUnit, XCTest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)Experience with Azure cloud services or other major cloud providersFamiliarity with SQL and relational database conceptsPrior internship or project experience in a startup or agile development environmentInternship DetailsDuration: 3 months minimum, with the possibility of extensionCompensation: Unpaid; academic credit arrangements supportedLocation: Remote-friendly; Houston, TX preferred for in-person collaborationStart Date: Flexible, aligned with academic calendarHours: Part-time (15 to 20 hrs/week) or full-time (40 hrs/week) during summerPath to EmploymentStrong performers will be considered for full-time roles post-graduationWhy Reidy.AI?Work on a production platform with a real user base and a real product that will change the retail world!Gain full-stack exposure across mobile, web, backend, AI services, and cloud infrastructure;Collaborate with a senior engineering team with industry experience across real estate tech, fintech, and enterprise software;Contribute to a meaningful product that changes how real estate transactions are coordinated and properties are valued;Build a portfolio of documented QA work, test plans, and GitHub contributions, you can speak to in interviews;Clear path to a full-time offer for standout performers
