System Integration Test Engineer
System Integration and Test Engineer Job Description:
* Collaborate closely with Software and Hardware Architects to develop a comprehensive Test Architecture for the System on Chip (SOC) and/or Platform.
* Understand SOC internals, various instruments, their usage, and develop both pre-silicon and post-silicon test plans.
* Implement and execute test plans required for both hardware and firmware, covering all platforms, including customer platforms.
* Own and maintain the test automation infrastructure to enable the execution of unit tests, manual tests, & automated tests across various products.
* Maintain and customize a unified platform across all products and projects, providing ongoing support.
* Actively participate in Requirements and Design reviews
Responsibilities:
* Define methods for measuring system quality.
* Establish test strategies, quality gates, and business/system QA metrics.
* Refine system requirements to ensure testability.
* Ensure SRD compliance at the system level and participate in Data Sheet development.
* Develop SIT test plans for pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
* Ensure System Requirements Documents (SRD) compliance at the feature level and manage test plan automation.
* Sign-off on software releases.
* Perform manual testing as needed.
* Manage the SIT testbench farm.
Necessary Skillsets:
* In-depth knowledge of system functionalities and SOC internals.
* Ability to communicate effectively with design teams.
* Expertise in Test Architecture document design and ownership.
* Expertise in operating Lab equipment like Temperature chamber, VGAs, oscilloscope, Traffic Generators like IXIA, LeCroy etc.
* Knowledge of testing standards for embedded systems and certification/IOP specifications.
* Proficiency in test plan design for both functional and non-functional aspects.
* Knowledge of Python libraries and packages, test code architecture, and interaction with CI/CD and DevOps.
Education:
* PhD or MS/MSc/MTech in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications/Computer Science
* Minimum of 10 years of experience (5 years in the case of a PhD degree) in QA or Verifications roles in Semiconductors industry

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
