We are one of the leading Headhunters in Accounting and I am a former CPA. Currently searching for the Controller for a well financed start-up in the Food & Beverage industry. We need a very hands-on accounting professional with experience in working at a startup environment and/or working with a very small management team. You will report directly to the CEO>Duties include:• Managing accountingo Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable• Financial reportingo Preparing and analyzing financial statements, and coordinating with external auditors• Budgetingo Assisting with budget preparation, monitoring variances, and reporting to upper management• Tax complianceo Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and accurately completing tax returns• Financial policieso Aligning financial policies and procedures with company objectives• Financial performance: Developing and monitoring financial performance metrics• Regulatory reportingo Overseeing regulatory reporting, including tax planning• Special projects: Assisting the CEO on special projects and compiling special reportsLet me know ASAP if this is of interest.805-453-0001
