We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time."ResponsibilitiesProvides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activitiesSets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaborationAnticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirementsManages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirementsCreates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 9+ years applied experienceProficiency developing micro services using Java, AWS technologies using Spring Boot frameworkExperience leading technology projectsExperience managing technologistsProficient in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplinesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:OOP principles and design patterns. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in JavaAWS cloud services (EC2,S3, Lambda). Familiarity with deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
