Clinical Education Specialist

The Clinical Education Specialist will play a pivotal role in the success of ElMs mission. The person in this position will work closely with internal departments, clinical sites and University Partners (UP). The ideal candidate will help foster successful clinical education experiences for EIM UP students.In Person and remote options if not located in the San Antonio Area.Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance401(k) matching up to 4%Generous PTOFSA/HSA OfferingsParental leave benefitsChildcare benefitsMuch, much, more!ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Be Doing (Include but are not limited to the following):Coordinate with UP clinical education teams to discover new clinical sites, maintain communication with current sites, and keep clinic site information up to date in our SalesForce CRM system. Manage caseload of outbound/inbound calls and emails pertaining to student placements. Manage contract activities between clinical sites and UP leadership. Build and maintain positive relationships with key clinical and University Partner personnel using effective virtual meetings, email, and phone communication daily. Working closely with UP clinical education teams, coordinate student-placements needed for each clinical education experience and submit requisite paperwork to clinical facilities for students' participation on a timely basis; input pertinent placement data in the EXXAT CRM system. Work with UP clinical education teams to facilitate student-site interviews and track results using the EXXAT platform. Communicate professionally with clinical staff in hospitals and clinics to facilitate clinical placements via Exxat CRM system, SalesForce, email, online application and phone. Communicate confirmed or changed clinical placement agreements and arrangements with EIM Director of Clinical Operations, UP Directors of Clinical Education and UP Clinical Education Administrative CoordinatorsMaintain HIPAA & FERPA standards (Complete FERPA training within first 90 days) when working with clinical site or student information. Participate and present in meetings with UPsQualificationsWhat you should have:College Degree or 3-5 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated skills of organization, data management administrative experience across technology, healthcare or education sectorsUnderstanding of clinical placements in healthcare education preferrably in nursing clinical placementAbility to work effectively in a diverse multi-cultural environmentExperience with regulatory and/or accreditation policies preferredExcellent organizational, time management, negotiation and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work effectively under pressureAbility to lead by influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organizationSelf-starter who is able to work independentlyMust be well organized and detail-orientedAbility to communicate to effectively with all levels of stakeholdersAboutSalary: Starting at $50,000/yr negotiable commensurate with experience.Position Type: Full TimeConfluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
