We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in personnel management and organizational strategy. Our growing company employs approximately 90 individuals, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing every aspect of their employment needs. This position will directly oversee staff dedicated to training, and payroll/benefit administration. If you love working with people and have 8 + years of experience we would love to talk to you!QualificationsBasic Qualifications:10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications:12-15 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhDAdditional InformationEssential Functions: Build a culture that fosters high performance, leadership and continuous professional development.Create, maintain and effectively communicate critical personnel based policies for UGA Finance.Help define and oversee the administration of compensation and benefit plans.Ensure that all employment practices are administered fairly and without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, amnesty, or veteran status in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR and ensure compliance through education and monitoring.Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance team members experiences, work flows, and work environments.Build a data-driven, technically skilled recruiting function by leveraging key impact metrics and tracking analytics.Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing projects to increase operation-wide recruiting and on boarding efficiency and effectiveness.Develop the strategic direction of the workforce, examining hiring trends and anticipating the organization's response to labor market changes, such as shortages and surpluses.Conduct-full cycle recruitment across a variety of professional levelsWork with VP of Finance and CFO to finalize and administer annually benefit optionsProvide executive assistance in regard to travel, meeting coordination, meals, etc.Assist training personnel in developing effective training for all new hiresWork Hours:Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours for the Pacific Standard Timezone.Travel Requirements:This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 15% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.Visa will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law.
