Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer - Junior to join their team. As a Java Developer - Junior, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Trading Platform Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative technology solutions, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Java Developer - JuniorLocation: Ann Arbor, MI ( 4 days onsite every week)Pay Range: $40/hrWhat's the Job?Participate in the design, development, and troubleshooting of high-performance desktop trading applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement complex software features and enhancements.Assist in system design, specification development, and debugging activities.Contribute to the development of APIs and frameworks supporting trading functionalities.Support troubleshooting and resolution of issues in both development and production environments.What's Needed?1+ Years of experience with Java, J2EE (both client and server side).Experience with object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD), distributed systems, and real-time processing.Familiarity with relational database systems and messaging systems.Experience with UI frameworks like Swing, Java FX, or similar technologies.Knowledge of agile development practices and test-driven development.
