Material Handler - Laminating - 2nd shift

Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within the manufacturing facility. This includes receiving, stocking, and distributing materials to various departments, ensuring that production lines have the necessary components, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Material Handler must adhere to all safety regulations and practices while handling materials. Responsibilities: Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and store raw materials, finished products, and equipment within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies to supervisors. Receiving and Inspection: Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies, verify against purchase orders, and document any issues. Staging and Supply: Ensure that materials are staged correctly for production processes, delivering materials to the production floor as needed, and removing finished goods. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety training programs. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Coordination: Work closely with production, quality control, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed and production schedules are maintained. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in a material handling or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
