Job Description Salary:Dakota Dental 4 Kids is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. The RDA will support the dentist during clinical procedures, help ensure excellent patient care, and maintain a safe and efficient treatment environment. The ideal candidate is professional, team-oriented, and committed to creating a positive patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental proceduresAssist the dentist during examinations and treatment using four-handed dentistry techniquesTake dental radiographs/X-rays in accordance with state regulationsPerform coronal polishing, sealants, fluoride treatments, and other expanded duties as permitted by state lawSterilize instruments and maintain infection control standardsRecord treatment notes and update patient charts accuratelyEducate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dentistryMonitor patient comfort before, during, and after proceduresMaintain inventory and organize dental suppliesSupport scheduling, patient communication, and other administrative tasks as neededQualificationsCurrent Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license/certification requiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredCPR/BLS certification requiredKnowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminologyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environmentProficiency with dental software and digital imaging systems preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience in pediatric dentistry, surgery, or general dentistry preferredBilingual skills are a plusExperience with electronic health records (EHR) and paperless charting systemsSkills & CompetenciesExcellent chairside assisting skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional and positive attitudeDependable and punctualAbility to work collaboratively within a teamCommitment to patient confidentiality and safetyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and move throughout the workdayManual dexterity for handling instruments and equipmentAbility to lift and move supplies up to 25 poundsBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsContinuing education opportunitiesUniform providedScheduleFull-time / Part-timeMondayFriday
