This pivotal role involves direct engagement with ownership, lenders, and equity partners in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing construction and permanent financing closings, evaluating new development opportunities through detailed underwriting and financial modeling, and supporting asset management efforts across various project phases. The VP of Finance will also be involved in monitoring project budgets, loan draws, and overall financial performance, as well as assisting with capital raising initiatives and investor reporting.Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in real estate finance or development, with a specific focus on multifamily projects. The role requires demonstrated expertise in underwriting, financial modeling, and loan closings, as well as a Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related discipline. A CPA or CFA designation is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills, be proactive, detail-oriented, and have strong communication abilities.
