About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Safety Clerk/Coordinator to join our team in SeaTac, WA. This is a Field position with responsibility for monitoring driver SOP and working with the department to ensure compliance; in addition to maintaining and monitoring employee safety within our buildings. The ideal candidate will have a background in ramp or safety experience or have recently supervisory experience. You must be able to work 3:30am to 12:00pm Wednesday through Sunday, however you need to be flexible depending on operational needs. Responsibilities Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications Ability to work with minimum supervision Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills Detail oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large groups – must be flexible LSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
