Material Management & Procurement Manager

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Material Management & Procurement Manager to lead local sourcing and material planning of server components. This role ensures efficient material flow, cost optimization, and supplier partnerships while coordinating closely with HQ in Taiwan and our factory in Mexico. Frequent travel to Mexico is expected to support supplier coordination, material readiness, and production alignment. Responsibilities Lead end to end material management and procurement for server components, including forecasting, supplier management, and inventory control. Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with HQ in Taiwan. Partner with factory teams in Mexico to ensure timely delivery, inventory accuracy, and production support. Collaborate with engineering, and operations teams to anticipate material requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices. Optimize procurement and material management processes using ERP and supply chain tools. Monitor supplier performance, risks, and cost savings initiatives. Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists and material planners. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 7+ years of experience in procurement and material management, with at least 3 years in server, IT hardware, or technology industries. Proven experience in materials management within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP; experience with MRP tools is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control techniques, and logistics operations. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions related to inventory management and production planning. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments and manage supplier relationships. Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams. Language skills: English(must), Mandarin(must), Spanish(plus). Ability to travel frequently to Mexico. Preferred Skills Experience managing server components. Familiarity with sustainability initiatives in procurement. Professional certification (CPSM, CPIM, PMP) is a plus. Experience working with teams across Asia and North America.
