Hybrid Details: Onsite 3 days/weekDuration: 9 months to startJob DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation of financial statements and investor reports, performing detailed analytics, and assisting with the testing, implementation, and ongoing development of the Ceded Reinsurance and ILS strategies.This includes coordinating new projects, managing bordereau reports, and providing data-driven insights to enhance financial reporting and streamlining and automation processes.The role requires effective collaboration across various teams to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in (re)insurance, with preferred experience in finance, actuarial, or analytics.What will your essential responsibilities include?Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements for investors, including detailed analytics such as performance attribution analysis.Provide support for ILS Data & Analytics, handling ad hoc requests related to portfolio structuring, analytics, process automation and investor reporting.Assist in the preparation, review, and settlement of bordereau reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Support the ongoing development and enhancement of financial reporting for Alternative Capital strategies.Assist with improving, streamlining, and automating various tasks and processes, as well as supporting project management and governance procedures as needed.Assist with comprehensive testing of the new Ceded Reinsurance System to ensure optimal functionality, accuracy, and adherence to business requirements.Contribute to the coordination and execution of new Ceded Reinsurance projects to facilitate seamless implementation and operational efficiency.Foster collaborative relationships across various teams, including Operations, Ceded Re, and Divisional Finance, to ensure efficient workflow and data accuracy.You will report to the AXA XL ILS Capital Management team.Required Skills and Abilities:Relevant experience within the insurance and/or reinsurance industry.Strong data and analytics skills.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage advanced features including Excel Macros and VBA.Accounting, finance or actuarial background preferred.Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information, both verbally and in writing.Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to effectively address challenges as they arise.Proven ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Strong stakeholder management skills, with a results-oriented approach to achieving objectives.#LI-Hybrid
