CT Technologist (CT Tech)Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 Employment Type: Full-Time Openings: 4 Positions Department: Imaging / Radiology CTWork Model: Onsite (Hospital)Hiring CT Technologists (CT Tech) to perform high-quality, diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and regulatory standards. The CT Tech will ensure safe patient positioning, accurate scanning, image optimization, proper documentation, and patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT scans and related imaging procedures as ordered by providersVerify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safetyPrepare patients for imaging including screening for contraindications and contrast use (as applicable)Operate CT equipment and select appropriate imaging protocols for optimal diagnostic resultsApply radiation safety practices including ALARA principlesMonitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in conditionEnsure image quality, labeling, and documentation are accurate and completeMaintain equipment readiness, perform quality checks, and report issues promptlyCommunicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, ordering providers, and imaging team membersMaintain compliance with hospital policy, infection control, and patient privacy standards (HIPAA)Support radiology department operations including coverage flexibility as neededMust-Have RequirementsARRT + AZ License CT: RequiredExperience: 12 years of CT imaging experience requiredPreferred / Nice-to-HaveExperience in hospital imaging / trauma / emergency imaging workflowsStrong IV/contrast experience (if applicable per facility protocols)Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teamsStrong patient communication and compassionate care approachExperience with PACS/RIS and EMR documentationCore Skills & CompetenciesCT imaging procedures & protocolsPatient positioning and scan optimizationRadiation safety / ALARA complianceImage quality assurance and documentationContrast safety awareness (as applicable)PACS / RIS workflow experienceStrong communication and teamworkPatient-centered care and professionalism
