Title: Frontend Toolkit DeveloperLocation: Brooklyn Park, MN (Hybrid)Job Type: Contract (4 Months)Compensation: $52 - $67/hrIndustry: RetailAbout The RoleWe are partnering with a leading national retail organization to hire a Frontend Toolkit Developer This role sits within a highly collaborative engineering team responsible for building and maintaining an enterprise-wide JavaScript toolkit used across numerous internal applications.This position is ideal for an experienced frontend engineer who is passionate about creating scalable, reusable UI solutions that enhance developer productivity, drive consistency, and accelerate delivery across large, complex environments.This is a hybrid role with onsite work required on Wednesday and Thursday each week.Job DescriptionAs a Frontend Toolkit Developer, you will design, build, and maintain shared component libraries and frontend platform capabilities used by multiple development teams. You will play a key role in shaping frontend standards, improving developer experience, and enabling scalable application development across the organization.Responsibilities IncludeDevelop and maintain reusable React components and shared UI libraries for enterprise useDesign scalable frontend architecture patterns that support both framework-specific and framework-agnostic use casesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and usability across applicationsIntegrate frontend components into broader application ecosystems, including Next.js environmentsSupport continuous delivery practices to ensure efficient, high-quality deploymentsContribute to AI-assisted workflows by helping define structured prompts, context, and supporting materials for AI tools and agent-based systemsQualificationsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software engineeringStrong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend development frameworksHands-on experience developing React components and scalable UI architecturesProven experience building and maintaining shared component libraries or frontend platform toolingExperience supporting both framework-specific and framework-agnostic frontend solutionsExperience working with Next.js and integrating components into larger application ecosystemsFamiliarity with continuous delivery practices and modern DevOps workflowsExposure to AI-related product features such as chatbots, RAG systems, Slack integrations, or agent-based workflowsAbility to define structured prompts, contextual inputs, and supporting assets for AI tools and workflowsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with microfrontend architecturesExperience developing conversational UI components or chatbot interfacesBackground supporting internal developer platforms or enterprise-scale application ecosystemsExposure to AI-assisted development workflows and toolsBenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
