Logistics Support Specialist

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human-level intelligence. Our robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA and requires 5 days/week of in-office collaboration.We are seeking a reliable and flexible Class B CDL Driver to support daily transportation needs using a box truck and other company vehicles as needed. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and parts between company sites, vendors, and customers throughout the Bay Area and beyond. During downtime between driving assignments, this position will support warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, facilities, and general logistics operations.The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, comfortable driving in a fast-paced environment, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team. This role is an 8 month term with potential for conversion. Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime or flexible hours based on business needs. Some weekends are required.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a Class B box truck and other company vehicles, including vans, pickup trucks, and smaller delivery vehicles as requiredPerform local and regional deliveries, pickups, and part runs between company locations, suppliers, carriers, and customersTransport materials between sites in Fremont, Menlo Park, Santa Clara, San Jose, Milpitas, and other Bay Area locationsLoad, secure, and unload freight to ensure safe transportConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concernsMaintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, inspection forms, and shipping paperworkCoordinate with logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory, and operations teams regarding delivery schedules and prioritiesEnsure all DOT, company, and safety regulations are followed at all timesAssist with occasional after-hours, urgent, or "line down" deliveries as neededDowntime / Non-Driving ResponsibilitiesWhen not actively driving, this role will support the operations team with:Shipping and receiving activitiesLoading and unloading inbound and outbound shipmentsInventory counts and cycle countsPulling, staging, and delivering parts to internal teamsOrganizing warehouse, storage, and inventory locationsAssisting with packaging, palletizing, labeling, and preparing shipmentsSupporting facilities tasks such as moving equipment, organizing work areas, and maintaining cleanlinessAssisting with part requests, local errands, and general operations supportUpdating spreadsheets, inventory systems, and delivery tracking informationSupporting special projects as assignedQualificationsValid Class B CDL with clean driving recordMinimum 2 years of experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicleExperience driving multiple vehicle types preferredForklift certification or willingness to become certified preferredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyComfortable using smartphones, GPS, email, and basic computer systemsAble to work independently and manage changing prioritiesStrong communication and customer service skillsFamiliarity with Bay Area roads, traffic patterns, and delivery locations preferredPreferred ExperienceExperience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics operationsExperience with ERP, inventory, or shipping systemsHazmat endorsement or experience transporting regulated materials is a plusExperience supporting fast-paced manufacturing, technology, or operations environmentsPay Range: $35-$40The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
