Assistant Service Manager

Description: Autoworld is seeking a strong Leader that is willing to work on the front lines with his/her staff. The right candidate will have strong knowledge of service department processes as well as warranty process & procedure. They will utilize this knowledge to obtain weekly department sales goals while cultivating a team culture. An Automotive Assistant Service Manager's position requires accountability and the highest integrity to obtain the best results. Customer satisfaction and retention is expected to be maintained or increased. The Automotive Assistant Service Manager will report to the Fixed Operations Manager and will attend a brief weekly meeting to recap progress of goals and to update any other concerns. Other responsibilities for an Automotive Service Manager: Communicates with customers via phone, email or face-to-face to answer support and service questions. The role often involves doing remote troubleshooting of problems, following up with consumer inquiries and keeping track of necessary documents that are related to customer interactions. The goal of an Automotive Assistant Service Manager is the retention of customers through customer satisfaction. Automotive Assistant Service Managers document problems with the customer service process and help to create solutions as part of a team. Requirements: Automotive Assistant Service Managers should have a variety of practical skills for their position. The main skills and qualifications of an Assistant Service Manager are: Communication skills Familiarity with customer service standards and processes Interpersonal skills Ability to handle stress to operate under deadlines. Supervisory skills Automotive Assistant Service Manager candidates need minimum 3 years of dealership experience. Education may substitute for experience, but both are recommended. Basic experience with math, computers and organizing in a professional setting is helpful, as is any proficiency in multiple languages. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
