*not a Senior level role not interested in Senior Level candidates- they are overqualified*Duration: 3 months contract to hirePay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourJob description:What You'll DoDevelop and configure PLC programs (ladder logic, structured text, function blocks)Build and maintain SCADA/HMI systems and interfacesConvert engineering narratives into functional PLC logic + SCADA configurationsConfigure RTUs, communication protocols, and system integrationsDesign HMI/SCADA screens (UI/UX + navigation)Perform testing, validation, and system commissioning (onsite or remote)Troubleshoot electrical, network, and control system issuesCollaborate with engineers, PMs, and field teamsMaintain technical documentation and system updatesWhat You Need (Must-Haves)3+ years of PLC programming + SCADA/HMI experienceStrong experience with ladder logic and industrial control systemsAbility to read electrical drawings and P&IDsExperience with SCADA platforms, RTUs, and communication protocolsStrong troubleshooting skills (electrical + networking + controls)Ability to translate technical requirements into working systemsNice to HaveExperience in utilities, water/wastewater, or industrial environmentsExposure to UI/UX design for industrial interfacesExperience with system integration and commissioningBackground working with cross-functional technical teamsWhat to ExpectProgramming-heavy role (hands-on PLC + SCADA work)Opportunity for direct hire conversionMix of development, testing, and field supportWork on real-world industrial automation systemsWork Location: In person
