Our client in Illinois is seeking a skilled Vascular/Interventional Radiologist Physician to join their team for a 60-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This full-time role involves a dynamic schedule including onsite weekday, weekend, and overnight diagnostic shifts, plus 24-hour interventional radiology call. The physician will perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on biopsies, drain placements, and vascular interventions.Responsibilities and DutiesPerform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.Manage a diverse procedural mix including biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, GI, GU, and oncology-related interventions.Conduct CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow).Execute drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges).Perform biliary procedures.Conduct GI and GU procedures.Execute vascular procedures and access.Perform hemodialysis access procedures.Conduct oncology-related interventional procedures.Work closely with referring physicians, hospital teams, and procedural staff to deliver comprehensive IR services.Additional InformationBoard Certification required in Vascular & Interventional RadiologyEMR: EpicBenefitsStrong compensationTravel-related expenses coveredA-rated medical malpractice insurance providedDedicated recruiter for future travel opportunitiesWhat are Locum Tenens Jobs?Locum tenens jobs, sometimes referred to as travel assignments, are contract positions that help meet patient care needs at various healthcare facilities and hospitals for a defined period.
