Engineering Technician - Product Testing & Validation

* *Job Title* : Engineering Technician II - Product Engineering Support * *Location*:-Fargo ,ND * *Shift Details *: 8am-5pm M-F (1st Shift) * *Duration*: 12 months Contract/Temp *REQUIRED EDUCATION* * A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE* * Minimum one year of experience in electronics, manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry; three or more years of related experience is preferred *REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES* * Experience troubleshooting PCB subassembly failure modes to identify root cause * Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components * Understanding of test equipment and methods (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) * Ability to read engineering documents such as schematics or diagrams * Ability to comprehend product and process component datasheets * Ability to assemble and disassemble products * Ability to maintain and repair lab equipment * Ability to learn advanced computer applications * Ability to research, tabulate, and summarize data * Ability to work with little or no supervision * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing Strong mechanical aptitude *PREFERRED SKILLS* * Three years of hands-on experience *troubleshooting PCB* subassembly failure modes to identify root cause * Three years of hands-on *soldering experience* with fine-pitch surface mount components * Three years of hands-on experience with *electronic test equipment* such as multimeters and oscilloscopes * Experience running and maintaining *3D printers* * Experience with *printed circuit board (PCB) layout* * Experience machining and modifying materials such as aluminum, steel, plastics, and fiberglass * Experience working with advanced test equipment including logic analyzers and spectrum analyzers * Experience working with electronic components and systems * Experience working with equipment and machinery MB-R7 #IND2 Job Type: Contract Pay: $36.00 - $37.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Are you a US Citizen or GCH?
