The Research Coordinator, Center forPeacemaking leads and advances the Center for Peacemaking\'s academicworking groups, faculty engagement initiatives, and research portfolio.The role guides collaborative scholarship, cultivates facultyparticipation, and drives the development of innovative programs thatadvance the Center\'s mission. Serving as a key connector among faculty,students, community partners, and external collaborators, this positionfosters meaningful partnerships and ensures that the Center generateshigh-impact research, thought leadership, and community-informedoutcomes. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Lead Fundraising & GrantDevelopment. Lead fundraising strategies to support the Center forPeacemaking\'s research initiatives. Identify, pursue, and secureexternal funding through grants, partnerships, and philanthropicsupport. Develop competitive grant proposals, steward funderrelationships, and manage grant implementation to advance the Center\'sacademic research priorities. 2. Manage Academic Research Initiatives.Provide leadership for the Center\'s academic working groups bysupporting faculty chairs in advancing research priorities, facilitatingcollaboration, and ensuring progress toward defined goals and outcomes.Guide the development of calls for research, oversee the allocation andstewardship of research funds, and ensure completion of deliverables,including publications, events, and applied research output. 3. AdvanceFaculty & Student Research Engagement. Cultivate faculty and graduatestudent participation in peacemaking research and interdisciplinaryscholarship. Develop systems and communications that strengthenengagement with Center initiatives, including research announcements,faculty networks, and student research opportunities. Maintainpublic-facing resources, including faculty directories, working groupprofiles, and research reports that highlight the Center\'s academiccontributions. 4. Implement Communication & Storytelling Strategy.Develop and implement strategic communications that elevate the impactof t e Center\'s academic research initiatives. Produce and disseminatecontent across web, print, podcast, and media platforms that highlightresearch outcomes and thought leadership in peacemaking. Represent theCenter at professional conferences and gatherings. 5. Lead Academic andPublic Events. Plan and coordinate faculty gatherings, interdisciplinaryresearch convenings, and Center-sponsored events that foster visibilityfor peacemaking scholarship. Provide operational support forconferences, public talks, and interdisciplinary seminars. 6. FinancialActivities. Establish, approve, and monitor budgets for each academicworking group to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with theCenter\'s strategic priorities. 7. Supervision.
