From the day we opened our first store in Chicago in 1962 to the digital innovations that engage millions of customers today, our iconic brand is nearly 60 years in the makingand our story is still unfolding.The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and performance of lifecycle and promotional messaging across email and push notification channels for US + CA. This role drives audience strategy, testing, and personalization initiatives to improve engagement, revenue, and customer lifetime value. This manager will partner cross-functionally with brand marketing, creative, merchandising, and technology teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise and passion for lifecycle channels, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization strategy, with a background in CRM or lifecycle marketing and an understanding of personalization at scale.This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Chicago, IL office, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.A day in the life as a Lifecycle Marketing Manager...Develop and manage audience segmentation and channel frequency strategies across email and push notificationsCollaborate with brand, creative, program, and merchandising teams to develop and manage the comprehensive email and push notification content calendarBuild and maintain a channel roadmap, including A/B testing strategy and test plansLead personalization strategy, including ownership of product recommendation programsPartner with leadership on forecasting and budgeting for channel performanceDevelop campaign briefs and provide strategic direction for email and push programsOwn file growth strategy to drive subscriber acquisition and list healthServe as the primary point of contact for external vendors and personalization partnersProvide and present regular hindsights on performanceManage day-to-day oversight to ensure accurate executionManage a team of 2 direct reportsWhat you'll bring to the tableServe as the main point of contact for key marketing technology vendors, including Email Service Providers (ESPs), push notification platforms, and personalization partners, managing relationships and platform utilizationExperience using ESP tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Moveable InkMaintain hands-on knowledge of email and push notification platforms to provide execution oversight and technical support as requiredStrong knowledge of retail promotional tactics and customer messaging best practicesAbility to manage and develop direct reports knowledge base and skill set across programs.Strong project management and communications skills - experienced in navigating across organizations and collaborating cross-functionallyPossess analytic skills to generate and present comprehensive weekly and monthly channel performance reports.Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and focus on activities that drive company sales, profitability, and return on investmentA problem solver - ability and willingness to take on challenges and roll up the sleeves to make things workHas an "own-it" attitude - KPI oriented and willing to take on accountabilityAbility to create collaborative relationships, mediate disparate points of view, demonstrate professional maturity, and promote a strong sense of teamworkAbility to represent the company to outside partners with integrity and professionalismWe'd love to hear from you if you have5+ years of relevant marketing experience; email experience required, retail experience preferredBachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferredEuromarket Designs, Inc., which does business as Crate and Barrel and CB2, will be referred to as "the Company".
