Earn a solid paycheck.Ledcor is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to support our mining operations in Nevada and Idaho.If you know your way around iron and take pride in keeping equipment running strong, this is your chance to join a solid crew and build a long-term career.You’ll work on a fleet of haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators, helping keep critical equipment safe, reliable, and ready for the job.Apply today to join Ledcor!Essential Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mining equipment including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavatorsPerform scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running safely and efficientlyRepair and replace components to OEM standards, with a focus on Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipmentComplete service records and communicate equipment status to operations teamsWork safely with tools and equipment, following all site safety proceduresCollaborate with mechanics and operations to prioritize repairs and minimize downtimeQualifications:2–4 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair (mining or heavy civil preferred)Trade certification, technical training, or equivalent experience is an assetStrong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsExperience reading schematics and using diagnostic toolsExperience with Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment strongly preferredMSHA Part 48 (metal/non-metal) required (support provided if needed)Valid driver’s license with clean abstractMust pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testingWork Conditions:Rotating shifts, 10–12 hours per dayOvertime paid after 40 hoursSteady, site-based work with long-term opportunitiesDaily Living Out Allowance (LOA)Health and wellness benefits, plus 401(k) matchingOutdoor work in all weather conditionsAdditional InformationLedcor Heavy Civil and Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
