Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (22971)

Position PurposePlan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance and facility operations within the PGL organization, ensuring that all building systems, material handling equipment (MHE), and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and compliant. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors responsible for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and building repairs, as well as fleet and dock maintenance. TasksCoordinate, schedule, and oversee facility repair and maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing.Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely completion of work orders in alignment with company standards and budget.Supervise maintenance and repair of box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE.Partner with general contractors for building-related projects, including racking, walls, and other structural repairs.Coordinate dock door and dock plate inspections, maintenance, and repairs to maintain a safe working environment.Maintain records of service schedules, inspections, and completed repairs.Oversee preventive maintenance programs for facility systems and equipment.Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.Support compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety standards.Track and report maintenance metrics, costs, and contractor performance. KnowledgeFacility Maintenance Management Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing) and maintenance best practices. Mechanical and Electrical Systems Understanding of MHE, dock, and fleet repair standards. Vendor and Contract Management Principles of sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers.
