Job DetailsDescriptionThe Logistics Lead provides working leadership and support to the Warehouse Team. The Logistics Lead will entail daily oversight of shipping, slotting, inventory control, warehouse cleanliness and organization, and company material handling assets and systems. The Logistics Lead directs the physical, storage, movement, internal distribution and outbound shipments of all components, materials, and finished goods. Key responsibilities are to be performed with permitting Safety first while following all company and OSHA safety guidelines.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLeads Forklift Operators to ensure loads are being loaded accurately and efficientlySchedules daily assignments in accordance with best practices for all Forklift Operators based on daily truck schedule posted from Logistics OfficeCoordinates and assigns specific FG item locations to be used for daily outbound shipments to maintain maximum efficiency and lean headcountLoad and unload inbound/outbound trailers as necessaryShip customer orders accurately and timely based on shipping schedule set forth by Logistics CoordinatorProvide all outbound shipments with proper and necessary documentation including but not limited to: packing slips, commercial invoices, BOLs, etc.Performs daily slotting (Warehouse/Production) of Finished Goods to ensure efficient warehouse utilization and accuracyEnsures all products and locations are organized and neatAudits that first in first out (FIFO) product movement is being followedIdentifies any FG non-conformity and communicates to QA and Internal Supply Chain SupervisorPerforms monthly inventory cycle count (including storage trailers)Identifies and reports required inventory adjustments to Internal Supply Chain SupervisorMonitors inventory for overruns, short skids, and damaged product and reports any concerns to Internal Supply Chain SupervisorReports discrepancies to Internal Supply Chain SupervisorProvides training to newly added warehouse personnel and assembly team; ensuring that each employee has copies of proper warehouse processesScan GunsProper and safe loading/unloading of trailersProper stacking/storing of productParticipates in and assists with Lean InitiativesRecommendations for Warehouse improvements and efficienciesMaintains current Lean processesNotifies Internal Supply Chain Supervisor immediately of maintenance issues concerning Forklifts/Batteries, Scan Guns/Tablets, and Dock equipmentLeads Warehouse Assembly Team to ensure production is performed accurately and efficientlyAssists with problem solving errors and inaccuraciesSchedules Daily assignments for all assembly team operators and provides tasks for product labeling and assemblyPerforms order prep and dispositioning of Finished Goods, Retagging inventory, hot-stamping machine setup/changeovers for assembly teamProvides production reporting in IQMSTracks, records, and reports to Internal Supply Chain Supervisor all customer related issues regarding outbound shipments to develop a strategy to address any internal process failures or gapsAssists with ensuring OSHA safety guidelines are being met and maintainedComplete any tasks or duties as assigned by the Internal Supply Chain Supervisor and/or Logistics ManagementQualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of Warehouse leadership experience required Manufacturing / Production environment experience preferred Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects to meet deadlines Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, inventory/shipping systems Advanced math and recording skills Great communication and interpersonal abilities Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment Ability to work with minimal supervision Successfully complete and maintain the OSHA forklift certification trainingComprehensive Benefits & PerksFinancial Wellness: 401(k) retirement plan with company match and annual/quarterly bonus opportunities.Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Security: Short-term and long-term disability insurance.Optional Extras: Employee-paid voluntary life insurance and supplemental benefits.Time Off: Competitive PTO, paid holidays, and a company-paid Christmas shutdown.Unique Perks:Raffles for concerts, sports, and entertainment tickets.Locally sourced prize raffles.Monthly happy hours to unwind and connect with the team.Who We AreMonoflo International, Inc. stands as a prominent provider of innovative and eco-friendly business-to-business reusable packaging solutions.
