Auto Body PainterShift/Hours: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $20.00 $28.00 per hour (DOE) Location: Wharton, TXPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter in Wharton, TX. This is a critical role in the production process, ensuring that every custom-built product meets high-quality aesthetic and protective standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSurface Preparation: Utilize abrasive blasting (sand/bead blasting) to remove scale, rust, and debris from raw steel frames.Masking & Prepping: Tape off and protect areas not intended for coatingCoating Application: Apply primers and finish coats using industrial spray equipment (HVLP or airless systems) to achieve a smooth, even, and durable finish.Quality Control: Inspect finished products for runs, sags, or "orange peel" and perform touch-ups or buffing as necessary.Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of spray guns, lines, and blasting booths to ensure optimal performance.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Proven experience in automotive or industrial painting.
