Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Work Location: Redstone Arsenal, AL (Huntsville, AL)Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interviewREQUIREMENT- Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screenDuties/ResponsibilitiesProvides professional electrical engineering and construction management support by performing tasks such as serves as the organizational subject matter expert on standards and practices for electrical engineering designs, system components, installations, and system construction.Participates in design reviews of and provides comments on contractor submittals on electrical designs and plans.Provides quality assurance oversight, documentation of such oversight, and recommends corrective actionsPerforms on-site inspections of contractor's work.Reviews submittals and responds to Request for Information (RFI).Provides safety oversight, documentation of such oversight, and directs corrective actions.Assists in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor electrical requirements and deliverablesDocuments and provides reports regarding contractor progress toward accomplishing contractual scopes of work and recommends authorization of progress paymentsEducation/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringCurrent Professional Engineer (PE) licenseMinimum of 10 years' experience as electrical engineer on large complex multimillion dollar federal construction projects, Department of Defense preferred.Experience with Resident Management System (RMS), preferredExperience with Microsoft OfficeExperience working at federal facilities including buildings, airfield facilities, and electrical power stations.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.A supportive and collaborative work environment.
