Join our healthcare team as a travel CT technologist and deliver high-quality medical imaging services in a hospital setting near downtown Madison and the lakefront.Job DetailsLocation: Madison, WI 53715 (Madison, Wisconsin hospital)Setting: Hospital – CT Department / Medical ImagingAssignment Type: Travel (Travel CT Technologist / Travel Healthcare Job)Start Date: 05/04/2026Duration: 13 weeksShift: 8-hour daysHours per Week: 40On Call: Required (participation in on-call rotation)Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 – $2,550Required QualificationsRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); ARRT-CT or CT certification requiredBLS (Basic Life Support) certificationMinimum 3 years of post-school experience in medical imaging or radiology (CT experience preferred)Experience operating Philips imaging equipment / Philips CT scannersAbility to participate in on-call rotation and work in a fast-paced hospital environmentCT Technologist ResponsibilitiesPrepare and educate patients for diagnostic CT procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safetyPosition patients and operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic imagesPerform diagnostic radiographic/fluoroscopic C-arm exams in department and with portable equipment as neededAdminister IV contrast media per protocol and monitor patients post-injectionPerform image reconstructions, follow printing protocols, and assist with PACS/image archiving workflowsComplete documentation, requisitions, and required paperwork in a timely and accurate mannerTroubleshoot and identify equipment and imaging quality issues; escalate to service teams when appropriateTransport patients, maintain supply inventory, and ensure equipment is stocked and ready for useCollaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and floor teams to ensure excellent patient care and efficient workflowAttend required in-services, orientations, and departmental meetingsDemonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and patient-centered care at all timesPerform other duties as assigned consistent with the CT technologist roleApply now to be considered for this travel CT technologist position in Madison, WI.
