Warehouse And Delivery AssociatePosition: Warehouse and Delivery Associate Location: Houston, TX Pay Rate: depends on experienceAbout Us: Our client is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse and Delivery Associate to join their team.Key Responsibilities:Shipping and Deliveries: Drive company trucks for deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. Manually load and unload trucks (candidates must have no pre-existing back injuries). Maintain a clean driving record. Perform deliveries in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness of trucks by washing and sweeping them regularly.Warehouse Duties: Manage trash and dumpsters effectively. Paint flagpole parts and perform light parts assembly. Maintain inventory and ensure accurate stock levels. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (forklift experience required). Use power tools for various tasks.General Requirements: Non-smoking. Pass drug and alcohol tests. Maintain a neat and professional appearance. Demonstrate good typing skills. Exhibit strong math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure and work with inches, feet, and fractions.Qualifications:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous experience in a similar role preferred.Forklift certification or significant forklift experience.Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.Basic knowledge of power tools and their safe operation.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly.Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.Must have no pre-existing back injuries or conditions that would prevent manual labor.Benefits:Competitive pay rate of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.Opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.Comprehensive training and support.Positive and supportive work environment.
